Creative Care & Wellness Center assists in both the management of chronic disease, as well as the prevention of acute disease. First and foremost, the focus is client education. Education is offered on the different modalities available for the presenting imbalance, including education on modalities that may or may not be offered at the center.
The primary modalities offered at CCWC include Classical Homeopathy and Naturopathic Nutrition and Supplements Counseling. Secondary modalities offered include Breathing Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique®, FirstLine Therapy®, Reflexology and Sound Therapy. In addition, CCWC celebrates the inherent synergy between wellness and artistic expression. The center shares its facility with J.S. Cable Music Studio, a music education facility designed to support music as part of a wellness-based lifestyle.
Primary Therapies
Classical Homeopathy
Homeopathy is based upon the premise of “like cures like.” Homeopathy utilizes extremely diluted agents that, in undiluted doses, produce symptoms in the healthy that are similar to those experienced by the suffering individual. A homeopathic remedy is a natural substance that has been “potentized” (diluted many times) and “succussed,” (vigorously shaken). Homeopathy is used for both acute and chronic conditions.
Naturopathic Nutrition and Supplements Counseling
Every individual has specific nutritional needs based upon the tendency towards acidosis or alkalinosis. Education on the nutritional components of food, the role of lifestyle choices in wellness, and an understanding of dietary supplements empowers one towards preventative healthcare. Prevention supports good health, which lowers the susceptibility to disease.
Secondary Therapies
Breathing Therapy
Proper breathing technique has profound effects on our health, as greater than 70% of physiological waste by-products are eliminated through exhaled breath and skin perspiration. When our blood is properly oxygenated, our susceptibility to disease is greatly reduced.
Emotional Freedom Technique®
Emotional Freedom Technique®, called “EFT,” is a new discovery that has provided thousands with relief from pain, diseases and emotional issues. It is an emotional version of acupuncture without the needles. The client is taught to stimulate energy meridian points on his body by tapping on them with his fingertips. This tapping technique is an excellent means to undo thought patterns that are maintaining a physical or emotional imbalance.
FirstLine Therapy®
FirstLine Therapy® is a therapeutic lifestyle program that helps support you in living your life in a way that improves your health. Based upon extensive scientific research, this program is now recommended as the "first line of therapy" for individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, PMS, stress-related disorders, PCOS, menopause, conditions related to overweight/obesity, and more. FirstLine Therapy program includes initial Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis testing and follow-up testing, individual consultations, and menu planning. Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) testing assesses the body composition to identify how much of your body is muscle, fat, and water, thereby taking the guesswork out of supporting you in making healthy changes to your body composition.
Reflexology
This modality recognizes that each organ system of the body is represented in a specific location on both feet and hands. Stimulation of these contact points assists the body in maintaining balance and regaining homeostasis.
Sound Therapy
This modality uses tuning forks or music carefully chosen to resonate with the specific neural centers of one’s body requiring balance. Based upon the clinically proven concept that all neural centers resonate with a specific tone of a musical scale, sound therapy assists in tuning specific aspects of the body’s vital force that need support in order to regain homeostasis.
